This site is devoted to the game Star Trek: Armada and its sequel. In addition to the game in its original, or "stock" form, we also offer tutorials on "modding", based on Westworld's Big Book of Modding. But what is "modding"? Modding is short for modification, the process of changing a stock game to something different from its original form. A mod is a file, or series of files, that makes a modification to a stock game. Whether a single phrase of coding or a total conversion several gigabytes in size, mods enhance the enjoyment of the game. It all depends on how much time and effort you decide you want to put into the game, and your eventual intention. It can be a frustrating, but rewarding, process. Hopefully these tutorials will make it possible for you to mod Armada to your heart's content. --- Please note that this site is under re-construction! --- Before You BeginModding Your .ODFsThe .ODF Command ListsArtificial IntelligenceButtons and WireframesBuilding A Model For Armada IITexturing A Model For Armada IIThe Node Lists______________________Legal Notice and Advisory |
